Miyagi

■Y/N POV■

I'm checking everything inside my bag, making sure that I don't forget to bring anything important for the camp in Tokyo. I zip my bag and slide it to my shoulder, then I went downstairs. My mom is eating breakfast right now, she smiles and motions me to hurry up and eat.

Y/N Mom: are you sure you didn't leave anything behind? Packed enough clothes? You'd be staying for a couple of days in there and after that will stay at your father's apartment for a week.

Y/N : yes mom, I've just checked it again before I left my room. I'm so excited to visit Tokyo with everyone, unfortunately, Hinata kun and Kageyama kun have to stay for a retake, but Tanaka's older sister will take them there.

Y/N mom : hahaha, I feel bad for the two of them. So what are the schools that will be joining the camp?

Y/N : oh It's Nekoma, Shinzen, Ubugawa, and Fukurodani. Can you believe it, I can finally see Kaori san and Yukie san again.
I can't wait to- mom?

My mom was zoning out for a moment, I stare at me with wide eyes.

Y/N : what wrong?

Y/N : oh ah nothing, I'm happy you can meet them again. Well, honey just remembers you have slights amnesia, don't think too much if you can't remember something... or someone from Fukurodani.

I nodded my head and continued eating. After drinking my milk, I stood up and walk around the table to give my mom a kiss and head out.

Y/N Mom: honey, please message and tell me about your day every night while you're there okay? So I won't be lonely?

Y/N: okay mommy, I'm gonna miss you too. I'm gonna tell dad that you're lonely mommy hehehe

Before my mom could scold me I run away and close the door. By the time I arrived everyone is already there and getting their bags on the bus.

Yamaguchi : good morning L/N san, wow your bag is kind of big.

Y/N : ah yes, I won't be coming back with you guys after the camp. I-

Nishinoya : WHAAAAT NOOO Y/N SAN YOU CAN'T GOI BACK TO FUKURODANI!

Tanaka : WE CAN'T LOSE ONE OF OUR GODDESSES

Yachi : n- no please L/N san (Yachi's eyes are teary)

Then, a loud whack could be heard. Daichi san smacked Tanaka and Nishinoya's head.

Daichi : don't cut someone when they're talking! ( hi voice sent shivers to anyone who hears it) now let her finish.

Y/N : ahaha, thankyou Daichi san (I bow my head) I'm going to stay at my father's place in Tokyo for a week after the camp. I'll go back here together with him. (I smiled at Tanaka and Nishinoya)

They exhale an exaggerated breath. Then put their thumbs up, I just laugh at them. Everyone is ready so we finally head to Tokyo. Except for Hinata and Kageyama who'll come later.

Tokyo

■3rd Person POV■

The member of the Karasuno volleyball team had just arrived at their destination. Kuro and Kenma from Nekoma came to greet them. Just then Kuro saw Y/N walking with Yachi and Shimizu.

Kuro: L/N? So that's why I didn't see you with the rest of the Fukurodani members.

Y/N : oh Kuro san, my family moved to Miyagi 6 months ago so I transferred to Karasuno.

Kuro : hmm I see, well glad to see you again, Bokuto and the other is already inside.

At the mention of her old friends, makes Y/N happy. The boys went to the gym while the managers do their job and went to the canteen area. When Shimizu opens the door to the pantry, all of the managers from the other school are already inside and they greet each other. Just then when all of the Karasuno members got in, someone drops a spoon and it clanged making all eyes looking at her. There the managers of Fukurodani, Kaori, and Yukie were looking at Y/N with teary eyes.

Yukie : Y/N chan oh my god, it's really you! I missed you so much.

Kaori : how could you leave without saying anything. We were so worried

Y/N : I'm sorry Kaori senpai Yukie senpai, I regret doing it too.

Y/N explains to both Yukie and Kaori about "her side of a" story that her parents told her. About the never existed so-called "accident", the surgery and the memory loss she got from that accident. Then about her new phones and why they moved to Miyagi.

While Y/N telling them about everything that she knows, Yukie and Kaori sometimes exchanged looks with a worried expression. The Fukurodani managers realized that Y/N have no memories about the hanahaki disease and anything related to it at all, so they conclude that her parents made up some story to cover her lack of memories. Kaori and Yukie agreed to play along and will not talk about the truth.

Kaori : okay we understand ( Kaori smile at Y/N)

Yukie : but you better give us your new number now.

The three exchanged numbers and got back to help the other managers preparing food for lunch. When they're doing their duty, Kaori excuses herself for a minute.

Kaori is heading to the gym where the boys are practicing. She walks to the Fukurodani coach and whispered something to him. Coach Yamiji called the Fukurodani member to gather outside the gym. They were confused by the sudden assembly but complies. When they're gathering outside the gym Kaori starts talking.

Kaori : Y/N is here, she's with Karasuno. I've talked to her at the canteen, Yukie is with her and the rest of the managers.

At the mention of her name, they're all surprised and happy. Akaashi is the one who's happy to hear this the most, even tho his face doesn't show it he was practically filled with happiness. But then Kaori tells them about what Y/N told them.

Kaori : it seems like no one in Karasuno knows about the truth. Y/N doesn't remember anything about the Hanahaki disease and everything related to it, so I suggest that we play along with this side of the story if we meet her.

Everyone nodded, they won't talk about the Hanahaki disease at all. They're just happy that they could see their former manager and friend again. But there's one thing that Kaori and Yukie forgot. Y/N didn't only forget about the Hanahaki disease and anything related to it, but she also lost her memories about the person who caused it.

■Akaashi POV■

It's lunch break, I was so excited during the whole practice that the team could feel it. We're walking to the canteen right now, I was walking slightly behind. When we entered the room my eyes spot her right away. I stopped walking, entranced by her presence.

My teammates already surround her, she happily greets everyone. Just then she looked my way and our eyes met, she look a little surprised but then give me a small smile. That face, that smile, her giggling voices, I missed them a lot. I walk towards them, she's basically talking to everyone.

Y/N : yes Sarukui san Konoha san I missed you guys too, Bokuto san are you still having the mood swing mode?

Bokuto was sulking by now, everyone is laughing. She looks fine, thank god she's alright.

Akaashi : thank god that you're alright, so how's uncle (Y/N Dad) and aunt (Y/N Mom) doing.

She startled at my question for a bit, but then give me a sheepish smile.

Y/N : umm, yes I'm fine thank you.. uh

She's fidgeting, it seems like she's thinking hard for a moment.

Akaashi : Hey Y/N what's wrong? Are you okay?

At my question, she looks up at me with an apologetic smile.

Y/N : umm, I'm so sorry but... who are you again?

Silence

Everyone is staring at her and me repeatedly. They all have this shocked expression, even Bokuto san suddenly stopped sulking.

Akaashi : what do you mean?

Y/N : Umm, I'm sorry.. well you see I was caught in an accident and.............

I can't seem to hear her voice anymore. She never actually got caught in an accident, it was just a made-up story to cover her memories lost about the hanahaki disease and-

Flashback
~6 months ago

At the Tokyo hospital, when Y/N just came and then Shirofuku san telling them about the hanaki disease.

Kaori : we've been trying to convince her to take the surgery but she refused because, if she takes the surgery she will lose her feelings for the one she loves along with her memories with him. And she said the memories of him are too precious to be forgotten.

~ back to the present

I look at Y/N face that still has that apologetic look. She's still talking about the accident. My heart clenches painfully, looking at her trying to explain things like this when she did nothing wrong.

Y/N : so my dad said because of that accident I might lose some of my memories. S-sorry if I can't seem to remem-

Akaashi : my name is Akaashi Keiji, it's alright Y/N. Don't push yourself... I'm just glad that you're fine, so don't apologize anymore.

I smile at her.
